With effect from June 1, 2001, the Hong Kong Domain Name Registration Company Limited (HKDNR), a not-for-profit subsidiary company of JUCC, has assumed the responsibilities of Hong Kong Network Information Centre ("HKNIC") for registration and assignment of Internet domain names ending with .com.hk, .org.hk, .gov.hk, .edu.hk and .net.hk.
